Speaking at the event which held at ValuCard’s head office in Lagos, Mrs. Vivian Okolo, ValuCard’s Head of Acquiring Services says, ‘ the presentation of the tickets is consequent on the commitment of the company to the mutual business relationship advancement with the company’s merchants.

“It is a way to say thank you for staying by us., “What we have done today, though may be small, is a build up to our activation and promo towards the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, which we have tagged Hopes & Dreams Promo, where 10 all expense paid trip to see the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa would be won by 5 Visa/VPAY cardholders and N5 million by five of our merchants’’, she informed.

Also Speaking, Doyin Akinyemi, group head, Processing and Business Development of ValuCard said; ‘It is important that we meet often to rob minds and share for our mutual benefits. The tickets though limited, we thought we should share with those who have been with us and have continued to see that Visa Cardholders are given reception to use their cards at their locations and outlets.’’
The representatives of the various merchants also used the event to ask very pertinent questions, to which the duo of Mrs. Okolo and Mrs. Doyin Akinyemi gave ample responses.
