International Summit and Exhibition on Energy (I-SEE 2009) holding at the International Conference Centre, Garki Area 10, Abuja, Nigeria between November 2 and 5.
The theme, “Promoting Affordable and Reliable Energy Sources and Infrastructure for Sustainable Electricity Supply in Nigeria†as supposed would highlight how the nationwide implementation of alternative energy, energy efficiency and sustainability in support of the present administration’s 7-point Agenda for National Development.
Accordingly, the programme would also highlight bio-industry energy, solar electric energy, solar thermal and geothermal energy, water technologies, coal and wind energy, utility issues, business technologies and practices, energy efficiency, energy management , sustainable and green practices; energy policy, legal issues, drivers of the energy revolution and opportunities and models for funding.
The event is organised with the collaboration and support from the Federal Ministry of Power and its agencies, the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, the Federal Capital Territory Administration, the United Nations International Development Organisation (RC-SHP in Africa), the Nigeria Integrated Power Projects, the Senate Committee on Power, Steel Development and Metallurgy, along with other private bodies and firms.
