E-Academy : CWG in multi-million naira partnership with SAP
Computer Warehouse Group (ExpertEdge) in partnership with SAP has concluded arrangements to establish SAP e-Academy centre in Nigeria.
For the SAP e-learning, CWG will offer a world class training e-learning experience which is first of it kind in West Africa.
The academy is expected to give participants the opportunity to acquire SAP skills which are in very high demand globally at their convenience and with minimal cost.
The pilot academy which operates in Victoria Island is a flag -off of other academies which will be opening at the Surulere, Abuja and Port Harcourt offices afterwards. The centre is fully equipped with state -of- the- art facilities in an ambient environment conducive for learning.
The Manager, Education Business Solutions for SAP Africa Jaco Van Zyl while announcing the new development said that he is delighted to be associated with CWG/ExpertEdge and the professionalism that they would bring to SAP training in the region.
Similarly, Lynda Abah, Manager of Training Services at Expert Edge training Centre said that the center when fully developed will undertake training on Business Applications, Network and Infrastructure Solutions as well as IT Management Solutions.
“Our services cover trainings on Sun Solaris, Novell, Microsoft, NetApp, Dell, VSAT , Finacle banking application, Oracle, IBM, Java, ITIL, Project Management, TOEFL/Prometic/PearsonVUE Exam testing as well as the recently included SAP e-learning which commences at the Victoria Island office in October 2009″ she said, adding that the strength of their training centre lies in our focus on practical teachings, employing the services of seasoned and experienced in-house and external facilitators where scenarios are simulated and solved, thereby transferring practical knowledge to ensure that training sessions are intensive and dynamic.
