Asabaâ€”MEMBERS of the Delta State House of Assembly have endorsed the incumbent governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, for a second term, noting that his three-point agenda has impacted on the lives of the people.
The motion, which was moved by the member representing Bomadi constituency , Mr. Moro Reginald Donbraye,Â under matters of urgent public importance and unanimously adopted, said â€œthat this honourable House endorses the executive governor of Delta state, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, for a second term in office come 2011â€.
Speaking with newsmen after the adoption of the motion, the mover of the motion, Donbraye said â€œthe motion is for the best interest of PDP in Delta State.Â Dr. Uduaghan has tried because Delta State is not easy to govern.
â€œIf you look properly, the three-point agenda, human capital development, peace and security is working well.
â€œDeltans have enjoyed peace from inception of his administration to May 2009 when the men of JTF struck Gbaramatu and what happened there is not the governorâ€™s fault.â€
