boys chance to perform. They are young boys. They don’t have the heart to withstand jeers. We don’t want anything that will dampen their moral. Nigerians should encourage the team”, Obuh passionately pleaded

Apparently aware of the fact that Nigerians are troubled by the results gotten so far from the senior teams, coach Obuh said his mind is focussed on their first match against Germany. “The first match against Germany will be tough one. We need to win to go all out for the other matches. We know the expectations of Nigerians are high but we need to be encouraged to start on a good note”.

On the eligibility of the players in his camp, coach Obuh vouched that they were below the age bracket. “On the issue of MRI, my players have passed that hurdle. All the players I have now are young boys. Nobody imposed any player on me”.
