DAMATURU — Chairman of the All Nigeria Peoples’ Party (ANPP) in Yobe State, Alhaji Inuwa Nguru, has said the party is ready and willing to re-absorb members of the Senator Usman Albishir faction of the party in the state and work with them.

Alhaji Nguru who spoke with Vanguard after the verdict of the Supreme Court in which a case filed by Albishir was adjourned till November 24, 2009 said : “The party may set up a committee to reconcile with all the aggrieved party members especially those that belong to the Albishir faction if they can come together and work for a common goal.

“The ANPP in Yobe State is not in a haste to announce its plans for 2011 general elections because of its political confidence and the fact that the ANPP is the major party in Yobe and will continue to control Yobe for many years,” he said.
