P&G introduces Pampers 3 Way Fit diapers

Procter & Gamble (P&G), healthcare company has  introduced a new product: ‘Pampers 3 Way fit Diapers’ with a dance competition tagged “Dance with Dad”. Pampers 3 Way Fit diapers are designed to celebrate the freedom of movement which is important for babies development, as it allows little ones to explore and discover the world around them.

The keenly contested dance competition held at the Palms Shopping Mall, Lekki featured over 200 parents and babies dancing off against each other as winners emerged with much hilarity through audience votes. Prizes ranged from product packs to branded baby t-shirts.

The same competition had also been held at the Silverbird Galleria and Ikoyi Club with over 300 parents and babies participating and winning prizes.

Brand Manager, Pampers West Africa, Guillermo Tafurt said that the ’Dance with Dad” competition was part of a nationwide activity taking place in other major cities in Nigeria like Abuja, Enugu, Port Harcourt and Kaduna. Parents and other participants at The Palms last weekend were enlightened on the advantages of discovering their babies’ unique moves, which help develop their sense of positive self-esteem, whilst encouraging greater movement exploration.

Tafurt stated that Pampers 3 Way Fit diapers are uniquely designed to move with increasingly active babies as they explore their world without any leaks or discomfort.

Studies by child psychology experts he said shows that, “As babies embrace new movement and play ideas, their creativity increases through body movements and expression”. All children are different and move in their own unique and interesting ways to achieve the same goal of being able to move and ultimately walk.

Speaking at the event, a winner of one of the product packs, Mrs. Adeola Oni said, “The concept of the Pampers 3 Way Fit is a very nice one. Though I’ve not been using Pampers for my baby, after the experience from the dance competition and the product demonstration shown today, it will now be the new diaper for my baby”.

Pampers is endorsed by the Pediatrics Association of Nigeria and recent studies with global academic experts show that Pampers delivers superior sleep quality over cloth diapers, resulting in babies’ improved learning and social interaction.

Procter and Gamble, makers of Pampers diapers and one of the world’s leading consumer goods products manufacturers, has reaffirmed its mission to continually improve the lives of Nigerian consumers and contribute to the healthy and happy development of babies in Nigeria with the introduction of Pampers 3 Way Fit Diapers.

It’s just like marketing formula to 3rd world countries, telling them how much better it is for their kids than breastmilk, and then they spend 25% of their income on formula. I also would love to see the studies that prove it. Ones that are NOT funded by the parent company or it’s subsidiaries.

My daughter sleeps just fine at night, and is very smart thank you. If you can’t provide the evidence to prove these claims then I suggest you correct the post. Cloth diapers are far better for our children as well as our environment than any disposables. I used to use pampers with my older son, but he had constant leaks, and when i used them for just a couple days on my daughter she got such a bad rash that she literally started bleeding.

I would like to see the study that found that babies slept and thrived better using disposable diapers over cloth. My children seem to sleep, grow, and interact socially just fine wearing cloth, with the added benefit that their bodies aren’t exposed to disgusting and unhealthy chemicals and toxins that are in disposables.
