SAP Africa has announced the appointment of a regional manager for West Africa. His name is Mr. Noble Ekajeh.
Announcing this to newsmen during the SAP World Tour west Africa holding in Lagos, SAP Africa Managing Director, Pfungwa Serima said  the appointment takes effect from September 1, 2009.
According to Serima, Mr. Ekajeh in his new role is to oversee all functions of the business and at the same time drive SAP’s footprint expansion in the African region.
“Noble has a wealth of experience spanning over 13 years in the IT industry at both the local and international level and we believe this placed him in an excellent position to deliver on our expectation for the region.â€

“Ekajeh began his career in August 1993, as a District Manager, handling the West Africa business, for American Power Conversion in France. In March 1999 he was appointed Business development Manager for Compaq West Africa, where he rose to the position of Personal Systems Group Country manager for Hewlett-Packard.
He is joins SAP from ATM consortium Limited, Lagos where he was managing Director from July 2004 to date.†said Serima.
Responding, Mr. Ekajeh said “this appointment bodes well for SAP Africa as it further entrenches our commitment to West Africa , which forms a significant focus of our business as we continue on our ambitious growth trajectory in Africa. Given the focused commitment to the West Africa market by SAP, I look forward to expanding with the team, the scope and depth of SAP’s business in the region.â€
