Oni mourns Ajayi, ex-Sketch MD

Ekiti State Governor, Engr. Segun Oni has lamented the death of former Managing Director of Sketch newspaper and chairman, Owena Bank, Mr. Peter Ajayi, describing his death as a loss to the journalism profession in particular and Ekiti State in general.

In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Wale Ojo Lanre, Governor Oni, who described the deceased as an epitome of the finest breed in journalism said; “Peter Ajayi and the other musketeers, Felix Adenaike and Chief Segun Osoba redefined journalism profession and weaned it from the hands of the floatsam and jetsam of the society. He was a man of integrity and a distinguished Ekiti son from Osi, Ido /Osi Local Government area of Ekiti State.
