Representatives from about 20 companiesÂ will be participating in London Chamber of Commerceâ€™s trade mission slated to hold next week inÂ Lagos and Accra respectively.
The trade mission to explore wide ranging business and investment opportunities in the Nigerian market.The London Chamber of Commerce, according top British High CommissionÂ is a regular visitor to the region and will be following up on last yearâ€™s visit to Lagos as well as renewing contacts in Accra since the Chamberâ€™s visit in 2005.
â€œ Nigeria and Ghana have strong commercial and cultural ties with the UK and there are excellent opportunities for developing business partnerships.Â The mission is sponsored by UK Trade & Investment, London and Guaranty Trust Bank plc.
â€œThe visiting organizations represent a cross section of UK businesses. The main aim of the participants is to explore wide ranging business and investment opportunities in the Nigerian market.Â Sectors represented include: manufacturing, power, food and drink, oil and gas, chemicals, printing ,construction, telecommunications and corporate gifts.
â€œ Services represented include: business consultancy, engineering services, freight and shipping services, corporate training, audit and safety management systems and risk management services â€œ the statement added.
