Kwara assures Muslims on hitch-free pilgrims

Ilorin— THE Kwara State government has assured all the intending Muslim pilgrims to this year’s holy pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia of a hitch-free exercise and the best ever conducted so far, just as it commended Medview Airline for offering the state contingents a world class treatment at the last Umrah exercise.
Secretary to Kwara State Government, Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Cook Olododo, disclosed this weekend while hosting the Medview Airline flight crew for the successful Umrah 2009 flight from Ilorin International Airport direct to Jeddah.
He noted that already, arrangements had been conducted to ensure that unlike before, none of the pilgrims from the state that would be airlifted from Ilorin international airport was left behind for any reason.
According to Olododo, everything has been put in place by the state government and the management of the Medview Airline to ensure that this year Hajj to Saudi Arabia from Ilorin International Airport was successful, stressing that the era of leaving behind some intending Muslim Pilgrims is gone.
The SSGÂ commended the management of Medview for doing the state proud at the last Umrah exercise, especially for their commitment, patient, time, consciousness, comportment and hospitality.
He implored them not to rest on their oars, but improve on their performances during the next Hajj operation.
The SSG recalled that during the Umrah, the management of the airline provided them a well- organised feeding arrangement for breakfast and midnight feeding for all the pilgrims while in the Holy land and also provided quality “Hirams†for all the pilgrims.
Responding, Chief Executive and Managing Director of the Medview Airline, Alhaju Muniru Alade Bankole, promised to make sure that this coming Hajj to Saudi Arabia was successful and ensured that the expectations of the state governments were met.
He hinted that Med view has one of the best plane and that the crew members are ready at anytime to deliver on the expectations of their vakued customers.
