GlaxoSmithKline launches Ribena Colouring promo

GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Nigeria PLC, has launched Ribena Colouring Spree Promotion, saying it’s to reward consumers of the product.
The company’s  Marketing Director Mrs. Hannah Oyebanjo, said that the promotion will run throughout this month and October, 2009.

According to her, consumers will be rewarded with free gifts which include a pack of colour pencils, a colouring book and fun stickers for every tray of Ribena 288ml they buy. This promo is across all Ribena variants i.e. Ribena Blackcurrant, Ribena Apple, Ribena Peach and Ribena Pear.

“Ribena is determined to uniquely connect with its target consumers (children) and put smiles on their faces this season. The promotion is aimed at interacting and educating kids in a very special and unique way,”she added.

Also speaking at the event, the Senior Brand Manager, Mrs. Olufunke Akinloye noted : “We also want to educate them on benefits of Vitamin C to the body. Blackcurrants in Ribena go through lots of quality checks to ensure they burst with goodness. Ribena is a great source of Vitamin C and every pack contains 100 percent of the recommended daily allowance of Vitamin C”.
Akinloye further revealed that consistent consumption of Vitamin C is indispensable for children’s healthy growth. She advised that Vitamin C should be taken regularly to maintain good health.
