Commission awaits FG’s nod for employment
By Emma Ovuakporie
ABUJA – The Federal Civil Service Commission is waiting for the Federal Government to give approval for fresh employment into the Federal Civil Service as all compilations have been sent to the presidency.
This was disclosed by the Commissioner representing Delta, Bayelsa and Rivers Dr Joseph Egberike yesterday.
According to the commissioner, the commission had concluded all arrangements to commence employment once the Federal Government gives a go ahead signal.
Once this is done all commissioners are expected to move to their various zones and conduct on the spot interviews in the state capitals for the existing positions.
The Federal Character rule must be strictly adhered to as a candidate from Bayelsa cannot claim either Rivers or Delta State.
We carry out all the recruitment exercise in active collaboration with the state civil service particularly in the areas of identifying indigenes of the different localities.
