“Omo StainsÂ Â Â Challengeâ€Â the ongoing natio-nwide campaign for Unileverâ€™sÂ OmoÂ Detergent was in Kaduna with popular Hausa Actor, Mikhail Isah â€œGidigoâ€ anchoring the campaign.
Addressing the crowd which turned out at the event held on Saturday and Sunday, 15/16 August, 2009,Â Gidigo explained that the â€œStains Challengeâ€ campaign was created in order to enlighten mothers and consumers of the detergent on how to get the best from the detergent, and also to rewardÂ their patronage.
A statement from Unilever office said the campaign will take place every weekend at designated areas in Kaduna for another week and every mother who has Omo detergent in her home stands a chance to win cash prizes for their children. The campaign also addresses some key issues such as the need to soak clothes for about 15 minutes in order to remove dried-in stains.
He further emphasized the need for children to be given the right platform to attain their full potential adding that the Omo brand is out to assure mothers that there is no need to entertain fear when their children engage in outdoor activities as Omo Multiactive Detergent powder formulation is specially designed with enzymes, that removes though stains.
The Omo brand is no doubt a household name in the market segment, and it has been able to prove over the years that market leadership can be sustained by quality service delivery. Omo Stainâ€™s Challenge is a unique experiential initiative with an exciting touch of Corporate Social Responsibility.

A total of N200,000 is to be given away every weekend in the promo which takes place in Abia, Anambra, Lagos, Oyo, Kaduna, and Kano State concurrently.
