The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says it has concluded preparations for the commencement of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in 2010.
The Registrar of the Board, Prof. ‘Dibu Ojerinde disclosed this on Monday in Benin. He was speaking at the 9th Technical Committee Meeting on admission to National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID) and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes.
Ojerinde, who disclosed that the Board’s examination syllabus and brochure had been harmonised, however urged all institutions to co-operate with the Board for a successful outing.
He also appealed to all institutions with short falls to come forward and request for high-scoring candidates listed by the Board for possible placement.
“The Board considers all candidates suitable for admission to any Monotechnic, Polytechnic, Specialised Institution and College of Educations in the country†he said.
