UGHELLI —CHIEF Executive Officer of Ugheli power generating station, Engr. Ademola Adeniyi, has restested determination of the station to improve on power supply in Ughelli and its environs.
Adeniyi disclosed this last weekend while briefing religious leaders and the member representing Ughelli North local government constituency II at Delta State House of Assembly, Abel Oshevire.
Adeniyi said a 60 MVA transformer had to this effect been supplied and awaiting installation, lamenting that inadequate supply of gas was the major handicap to electricity supply in the country.

He assured that Ughelli people would provide the needed support to ensure that PHCN facilities in the area were protected.
Earlier in his opening remarks, Vice Chairman of the Ughelli Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) commended PHCN management for heeding to the cries of Ughelli people by providing the transformer.
