UGHELLI—SPECIAL Project Director, Ughelli /Asaba road dualization, Mr. Sunny Onuesoke, has frowned at the slow pace of work on section ‘A’ of the project that is being handled by Workson Nigeria Limited.
Onuesoke, who was visibly angry while inspecting the road project, said the government was committed to the completion of the road project in record time.
He enjoined Workson to fully mobolize to site and commence work on the section awarded to it without further delay.
According to him, the road project is dear to the heart of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan’s government and held that if completed, the road would help to boost commercial activities in the State.
Lamenting that the contractor was not working as fast as expected, Onuesoke noted that section ‘A’ of the road was an integral part of the road dualization project.
He said government would not tolerate any form of indolence from any contractor in the state and said contract of any contractor found wanting would be revoked and re-awarded.
