TWO Spanish football  managers, Miguel Angel and Manuel Daniel, have declared that there are unknown Nigerian talents that could dislodge Fernando Torres from the Spanish national team. Angel and Daniel from Muzoz Rivas and Baizan Cares FC in Spain could not hide their admiration for Nigerian talents that they said that they would make stars out of the abundant talents that abound in Nigeria.
They were speaking during GSI Euro soccer trial christened ‘sweat is sweet’ at AY Hotels in Ogba. The two Spanish administrators said that they were thrilled by the physical strength, skill and determination of Nigerian players. “Nigerians are naturally talented and they are committedâ€, they chorused.
Speaking earlier, Francis Imade, CEO of GSI, said that he had to embark on the programme because of the enormous talents that are being wasted in the country. “We truly want to fish out talents and empower them, establish them and bring them out of restiveness. Lives will be transformed as ours is a noble course of re-branding Nigeriaâ€, Imade emphasised. The programme would run throughout the country as the scouts would identify budding talents and empower them to travel and play in Spanish clubs.
