Kunnu gets Nigerian coy global award

Kano – A Kano-based food firm, Dala Foods Nigeria Limited has won a global Award for producing a qualitative local ‘Kunnu Tsamiyya’ (Tamarind Millet) at an International foods competition in Shanghai, China.

The company emerged top for its services to humanity during the annual competition with other International Food companies across the globe in the annual award event which took place in China.

The Managing Director of the company, Alhaji Ali Madugu, told journalists in Kano that the company’s outstanding performances at the global meet tallies with its determination to produce quality foods to meet global standards.

Madugu explained that the award will go a long way to ginger the management and the staff of the company to continue to produce qualitative foods to the satisfaction of its clientele.

The Dala Foods chief executive officer also disclosed that as part of the expansion programme of the company, very soon it would introduce into the market another local product to be called ‘Instant Fura’, and stated that the satisfaction of its customers is the company’s major concern.
