Doctor Alex Obiogbolu, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and an aspirant in the next year’s governorship election in Anambra state, will present ‘Oganiru Anambra Project’, his blueprint for the transformation of the state to a gathering of the cream of civil society groups on Wednesday, in Awka, Anambra state capital.
“Oganiru Anambra Projectâ€, is a document fashioned after the tradition of a socio-political contract, the culmination of years of painstaking research and strategic political thinking on the way forward for the state, and which has been encapsulated in a presentable handy format. Its public presentation in Awka, is therefore, in many ways a significant sign-post.
What makes it significant is the fact that it would be the first of such presentation by any aspirant to a gathering of civil society, and which by all intents and purposes should be seen as a strong attestation of the seriousness of the PDP Chieftain’s political quest.
Dr. Obiogbolu had earlier in April met with the political class across the three senatorial zones, where he had elucidated on his programmes and left the politicians impressed on his depth of knowledge and understanding of the workings of government.
This presentation is the first public presentation of a major campaign document encapsulating the visions, plans and programmes of action designed for the transformation of Anambra state under an Obiogbolu administration.
