2010: Okpala charges Eagles to defeat Tunisia

By Kate Obodo
Former Rangers Assistant Coach, Sylvanus Okpala, has charged  the Super Eagles to go all out to make the country proud as they get set to lock horns with the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in a crucial 2010 World Cup qualifiers this weekend in Abuja.

He said the match is so important to the country that the Eagles need to win to be in strong contention for the World Cup ticket, adding that anything short of a convincing victory would not be good for us.

“With the Tunisians topping the group they will be spoiling for war and this makes it imperative for the Super Eagles to stake their lives in order to defeat the north Africans on Sunday in Abuja.

It is a fierce battle for both teams, and the Super Eagles must hold their own to make the country proud.
“This is why I am  tasking them to do their best.”
