As the heat of transforming into fame and stardom intensifies in the MTN Project Fame West Africa, four contestants have been placed on probation based on their performances during the last weekendâ€™s nomination show at the Ultima Studio, Lagos. The four contestants are Mike Anyanzodo, with unique number 9, Jeniffer Esiri, with unique number 6, David Omodunmiju, with unique number 3 and Tarri Tebepah, with unique number 13, all Nigerians.
The four contestants who got served the first probation of the season 2 of the MTN Sponsored show, after an all round performances of some of the finest global hits from the contestants, were identified by the judges as having the weakest performances, among all the five contestants that performed before the over 400 live audience. One of them will however be evicted during next weekend eviction show.
The contestants, though thrilled the over 400 live audience with an overwhelming delivery of their songs had their performances under critical assessment from the judges which comprise of Chief Executive Officer, Nigezie, Femi Aderibigbe, International singer and performer from Ghana, Bibie Brew and top Nigerian music producer, Tayo Ibitoye â€˜TY MIXâ€™.
Speaking with journalists after the nomination show at the Ultima Studio on Sunday, Bibie Brew, one of the judges, maintained that they have discovered that the contestants have some weaknesses, either with their performances, understanding and interpretation of the songs, or how well they are able to carry the audience along.
