Union Bank Bonanza : Two additional millionaires emerge

Two additional million  aires last weekend emerged in the second raffle draw of  Union Bank of Nigeria Plc  on-going Savings Bonanza, bringing to four (4) the customers that have carted away the valued cash prize.

The two winners are Mr. G. I. Nwaogu of Allen Avenue Branch Lagos and Mr. S. S. Uzomah of Ogbete Market Branch, Enugu.

Ninety-seven (97) other cash prize winners also benefitted from the draw winning the sums of money ranging from N500,000.00 to N10,000.00 respectively.

The Group, Managing Director/Chief Executive of Union Bank, Dr. Barth Ebong said at the occasion that the Bank decided to bring the 2nd raffle draw to Benin because of the bank’s regard for Edo people, noting that the primary aim of the bonanza was to reward the loyal customers and encourage their banking habit.

Ebong emphasized that apart from the emerging 99 cash prize winners, subsequent regional draws  would produce winners for 180 motor cycles, 36 Toyota corolla cars, 3 Toyota land cruiser  Prado jeeps as well as houses in Abuja and Lagos, urging those who are yet to participate in the bonanza to hurry up and deposit at least N10,000.00  or  more in any Union Bank Branch.

He also urged the people to spread the good message to those who were not able to attend the draw that Union Bank is enriching customers, even as he electronically picked the two lucky millionaires.

The Director of Surveillance and Enforcement, Consumer Protection Council, Mr. Emmanuel Amlai, who represented the Director-General of the Council, told the audience that the duty of the council was to ensure that  the draw was conducted in a transparent and fair manner and  that winners were given their prizes as duly announced. Mr. Amlai said he was satisfied with the conduct of the draws so far.  He also picked the three lucky winners that won in the N500,000.00 category.

The raffle draw attracted many notable dignitaries and customers of the Bank namely, Mr. Didi Adodo, Edo State Commissioner for Lands, Survey and Housing, who picked the 50 winners in the N10,000.00 category;
