Unilever reaffirms commitment to homecare

UNILIVER Nigeria Plc. have strengthened its commitment towards supporting effective homecare with the recent launch of a nationwide campaign for Omo Multi-active Detergent which gives bursary awards to over 240 mothers to support their children’s education and general well-being.

The campaign tagged “Omo Stains Challenge” is designed to restate the brand’s leadership position in quality product delivery, and to challenge mothers to put Omo Multi-active to the test as the detergent is specially formulated to cater for all their laundry needs.

The campaign which is built around “dirt’s biggest lessons” emphasizes the fact that stains are inevitable when a child is growing while pointing out the detergent’s capacity to remove the most difficult stains from clothing materials.

One of the mothers who benefitted from the bursary awards at the campaign which took place in Aba, Abia State last week, Mrs. Ngozi Osondu, expressed delight in the product adding that her loyalty to Omo Multi-active Detergent was due to its consistency over the years.

“I am honoured to receive this bursary award for my child. I will accept it as my reward for continuously using Omo for over ten years,  she said.”

The Omo Stain’s Challenge initiative is a unique experiential campaign with an exciting touch of Corporate Social Responsibility that involves a surprise visit to Nigerian homes on weekends and an invitation to mothers to partake in the “Stain’s Challenge” for an opportunity to win the star prize of N 30,000 bursary. A total of N200,000 is to be given away every weekend in the promo which takes place in Abia, Anambra, Lagos, Oyo, Kaduna, and Kano States concurrently.
