Governor Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan of Delta State, has presented the staff of office to His Royal Majesty, Oviese Eba Ojenuwe 11, the Odiologbo of Irri Kingdom.
The ceremony, which took place at Irri Primary School playground in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, had Governor Uduaghan represented by his deputy, Prof. Amos Utuama(SAN).
Also gracing the occasion were commissioners and high chiefs across the state, among whom were Chief Ross Uredi, Commissioner of Bureau for Special Duties; Comrade Ovuozorie Macaulay, Commissioner for Energy; Chief James Otobo, Mr. Prince Erijo, Mr. Ambrose Okuwo, Mr. Leo Okuwe, PDP community leaders and a host of other representatives.
An eminent Isoko politician cum businessman, Raphael Okelezo, congratulated the monarch for the new position, commending the state government, especially Governor Uduaghan for his dynamic policies and programmes.
