Renowned SwissÂ wristwatch maker, Swatch, Wednesday in Lagos, formerly presented its Apapa outlet to consumers in Lagos State. Swatch also used the opportunity to announce a 10% discount on all items purchased between 15-31 July. The new upgraded shop located at Goodies Supermarket, is aimed at bringing Swatch closer to the people as well as bringing world class ambience that consumes of Swatch are already used to.
Speaking to journalist in Lagos at the official opening of the outlet, spokesman for Swatch, Mr Bolaji Alamu said, â€œ we have decided to upgrade and modernize this outlet in order to offer the latest merchandize available for the Swatch brand worldwide. At Swatch, we put the comfort of and convenience of our customers first because customer satisfaction is very important to usâ€. He added that the upgrade of the shop has become necessary to meet the challenge presented by Apapa as the hob of commerce and industry.
Conceived in 1982 with the sole aim of producing watches that are fun, casual and with relatively disposable accessories, Swatch was introduced into the Nigerian market in 19996 with various retail outlets a cross the country. The Apapa outlet brings the total number of outlets in Lagos to 12.
