The event was anchored by Kamal Salau; host of ‘Don’t forget the lyrics’ while Comedian Koffi, provided comic relief. Shortly after the red carpet, upcoming act Omolara opened the show with the national anthem and followed up with the rendition of one of her songs titled ‘Eyes closed’. The second act of the night was Bouqui herself and she performed with her live band, songs from her new album.

The album was produced by JJC aka Skillz and Mix Master jay while she was on tour of the UK last year. It consist fifteen (15) tracks and features artistes including Four Korners, Cobhams, Tilla man and Mike Aremu. The album whose lead video single has been enjoying massive airplay home and abroad was produced by skills for Bouqui’s place entertainment.

Some of the songs she performed at the launch include the title track; Redefinition, Wanna love you, Oluwa and Jumping. Gospel according to rap; a new gospel rap group thrilled everybody just before Rooftop MCs put the icing on the rap cake for the night. Multi talented producer and singer Cobhams was present, also was Mike Aremu who later joined Bouqui in rendering ‘Love You forever’, a song that saw rapper Bouqui sing instead of her usual rap.
