Police arrest man for alleged murder of parents

A mentally deranged man, Suara Kazeem who was alleged to have clubbed his parents to death has now been arrested by the Oyo State Police Command.
It was gathered that the suspect had just recuperated from a psychological problem but when his sadness relapsed, he was reported to have grabbed a club and hit both his mother and father.
While confirming the sad incident which took place at Obede’s compound, Oyo, the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Olabisi Okuwobi, also explained how an apprentice hacked a friend, Innocent Eze to death with a pestle over disagreement that ensued on the sharing formula of N200.
The suspect, Chidi Ebere was alleged to have committed the crime at Akinyemi way, Ibadan.Okuwobi said the elder brother of the insane man told the police that his brother who shown signs of recovery from a mental illness suddenly picked up big stick and hit their heads.
On the apprentice who allegedly killed his friend, she said, the boss of the two apprentices had gone to church leaving them behind at home. But on arrival, he met the door locked and after breaking it, the complainant met the deceased dead.
After frantic effort was made to track him down, the suspect was said to have confessed that he killed his friend with a pestle over a feeding allowance of N200.
