TRADE Union Congress of Nigeria(TUC)has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), to immediately arrest and commence prosecution of all those said to have contributed to the collapse of some banks in the country in which about N 188 Billion of depositors funds are trapped.
He said any attempt to reverse the upgrade of the PTI, Effurun as approved by former President Olusegun Obasanjo would be resisted at all cost and commended the South-South governors for their quick reaction and intervention on the matter.
“It is most unfortunate that at this time when our economy is facing serious challenge and the electorates looking up to Mr. President to provide the desired leadership that would steer the country to economic prosperity, the nation is being dragged back to an issue that had been settled by the apex court,†he lamented.
