The Newly appointed Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HOSF), Mr. Steve Oronsaye has been asked to use his wealth of experience to turn the civil service into a veritable tool for the attainment of the 7-Point agenda of the present administration.
Chairman of the National Population Commission (NPC), Chief Samu’ila Danko Makama, made the remarks in his congratulatory letter to Mr. Oronsaye, which a copy was made available to Vanguard Thursday in Abuja.
Chief Makama stated that, “it is my hope that you will bring to bear on this new position for innovation and continue in the ongoing effort to restore to the nation’s civil service its lost gloryâ€.
According to him, “you have the antecedents, goodwill and courage to take the civil service to greater heights and ensure that it becomes a veritable tool for the attainment of the 7-Point agenda of President Umaru Musa Yar’Aduaâ€.
He noted that, “given the impressive track record you have left in previous public appointments, this appointment is well deserved.
The civil service is an important organ of government that is charged with the responsibility of advising and implementing government policiesâ€.
