The College of Insurance and Financial   Management, a training arm of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria has announced the conclusion of a six month Certificate Course in Insurance Marketing for operators in the industry.
In a release issued by the Acting Registrar of the College, Mr. Ayo Thomas, the intensive course was one of the manpower development efforts of the College towards promoting professionalism in the insurance industry and that certificates would soon be awarded to successful candidates by The President of the Institute at a date to be announced soon.
He noted that during the course, participants were exposed to practical orientation and examination on such courses as General Insurance Business, Marketing Research, Risk and Insurance, among others.
Mr. Thomas added that tutorial courses, preliminary to the October diet of the Chartered Insurance Institutes professional examinations had commenced and enjoined interested members of the public and those desirous of making a career in the industry to take advantage.
