A former Super Eagles player, Victor Ikpeba, believes Chinedu Ogbuke and Yakubu Aiyegbeni could be the joker for coach Shaibu Amodu when Nigeria meets Tunisia on September 6 in Abuja.

Amodu
Aiyegbeni and Ogbuke has been on injury list in the past few months and this has ruled them out of crucial games both at club and national levels.
The match is the decider in Group Two of the qualifying series and Ikpeba argued that there was a need for the surprise element to boost the performance of the Eagles.
Ikpeba was speaking on Sunday in Lagos during the second edition of a Brila group packaged television proagmme, ‘2010 Countdown.’ Brilla Group CEO, Larry Izamoje, is a co-presenter of Ikpeba in the show.
He said, “The Tunisians will playback the match we played against them in Tunis over and over again. The advantage we have now is the players nursing injury and I expect the coach to use the key players injured as the main weapon to deal with the Tunisians.
“Aiyegbeni and Ogbuke are very good strikers and not much is known about them. They can deliver the three points.”
He also lamented the gap between the defence and the midfield of the Eagles in recent games.

how we need the guys.we miss yaks he is the key.
how much we need all our players to be fit.the earlier the players come back the better 4 the team. ogbuke will have to work hard to get into the team.uche is doing well.how we miss yaks.
Ikpeba may be speaking as an authority in the field of this game, but how fit is Yak and Ogbuke for now, they equally need to be tuned up with a friendly match to determine their match situation status.

Ikpeba is right. The Oracle at soccer fountain believes that Nigeria will defeat Tunisia by as many as three goals to nothing if Yakubu Aiyegbeni,
and Ogbuke Chinedu Obasi are fit enough to play.I am willing to bet
a thousand dollars on this one.Is there anyone out there who wants to
take on this bet?
