If truly, two have become one in a marriage, why should certain things be regarded as one person’s responsibility? The only reason you are even asking this question is because many Nigerians get married to the wrong people for the wrong reasons and then find themselves partaking in a competition of selfishness. It takes two people to have sex (If I still remember) therefore, both partners should share the responsibility for safe sex and be faithful and honest with each other. Chikena!

In my own view, men of these day are very dangerous and jelous to the estent that another man phone number can not be on their wife phon not to talk of receiving calls from men even official calls is prohibited in their presence and they (the men) are the one chesing another little girls and even married women but their’s is not allowed to be tuched by their felow men, in otherwards men are the chief virous conterminators and distributors.

Keep agreeing with what ever this writer put down. Let me tell you, most women with power are worse than these men. Are you sure that all these babies are from these men. My classmate could not go out of house because his wife is the provider. A wicked woman is a thousand times more dangerous than a dangerous man. Guys do not be fooled by her looks. In America today, 85% say that poligamy is wrong when agreeing with gay sex or gay marriage. Very soon you will agree with this angle of thought. Women world order has taken over American family court. They will run you out of town very soon. Wach’out guys. In Africa, there will be a drove to Islam. Do not allow this girl and her government into your bedroom guys otherwise you are gone.

Can i say the writer rather complicated the situation than offering solution if at all she can.Some writers nowadays seem to forget that they are writing for the benefit of the wider society not within their immediate environment.Can the writer tell us her style of life,parents,upbringing etc.I use to be disappointed on many occasions to learn that those who talk too much and insist for change are masterminders of the biggest offences such as lesbianism,adultery,fornication among so many unGodly behaviours.Please can the writer confess that she never had a sex voluntarily or had once blindly look for sex a partner out of wedlock?.can she prove that she dont appear nude to attract men’s attention?.It is a known fact that whenever a woman strolls in the streets and had’nt gotten attention from men she hardly can sleep that night if not shedding hot tears that she is’nt attractive enough.Pls Nigerian women abstain from devil first.If not in the instance of rape no man can force woman to bed without her consent.I cant understand which religion Nigerian women practice?.women’s search for money seems endless.Yes i can agree that men dorminate the majority of the public offices but that is not the excuse for women to wear trousers.Note that under those men there are so many women waiting for livelihood.The chain turns round as women seduce men for sex to rob them the hard earned money from those offices.Women indirectly control the power and economy as many men spend most of their earnings on women.Come to Abuja and see women driving in flashy vehicles,lodging checks in banks.What class of women are we talking about those sleeping on gold in cities or the abandoned ones in the villages that cant get access to this my reaction.Kindly specify the women you are referring to and avoid generalizing them so that you can be fair to mention the class of women in trousers and women turned to men as they go round looking for the idiot men for the sinister action.I am very sad as i can probably die without convincing the lost sheep in the house of Israel.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE WRITER, WE SHOULD ALL CHECK THE REMOTE CAUSE OF THIS ISSUE, WHICH IS THE INABILITY OF BOTH THE PRESENT AND PAST GOVT IN NIGERIA.THEY WERE UNABLE BECAUSE OF THEIR IRRESPONSIBLE ACT AND SELFISHNESS.
IMAGINE ,SOME UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE ARE MOLESTED DAILY BY THE MONEY BAGS ESPECIALLY THE POLITICIANS.
THE ULTIMATE SOLUTION NO 1, IS WE SHOULD MAKE THE FEDERAL GOVT WEAK AND GO BACK TO REGIONAL SYSTEM. THE SIZE OF NIGERIA IS TOO BIG FOR PRESENT AND PAST GOVT IN NIGERIA.

I agree with the writer except she appears to blame everything on men. Women are to blame to some extent. I mean We have those that parades themselves half nude all over the place, we have those that throws themselves at men without thinking about the cruelsomeness of such men.
There are situations beyond our control that places each in the kind of predicament that they find themselves for being unable to practice safe sex. Only a few exceptions is insufficient to say everyone should object.
Even the so rich that we talk about, if they will be honest will tell you it is not an easy task to practice safe sex no matter their level of education. The only problem is we will not see any one of them come out and tell the truth. its only half of the story that is told to everyone.
We just have top pray that the Lord will not place us in a difficult situation to experience such and those that are, HE should provide them a way out. His grace is sufficient for us all.

I strongly agree with adeniji adebayo. Everything squarely depends on individuals. As far as I am concerned there has been equal opprtunity for men and women . Adopted way of living is absolutly a choice. Safe sex depends niether on the man nor on the woman alone !

The writer made a lot of sense. But she tend to sound more like the “blame it all on men” type. She did not say anything about our women, married and single, who go about town virtually nude. She is obviously unaware that some married women are also involved in extra-marital affiar just for the fun of it. She did not mention our students, applicants and even working class ladies who have made up their mind to “use what they have to get what they want”. Dear writer, many ladies (I mean quite a large number) go about town with condoms. This is hard and bitter truth. A man who takes advantage of a woman is lacking in self esteem, period. Accepted that men dominate our world, it is a collective battle, men and women to curb the immoral descent our society is facing. It takes two to tango.

This is not only an intelligent piece but also contain the true situation of our women today most especially in Nigeria. The simple truth is the ecomomic dependent of our women on men occasioned by the poor economic situation as brought upon each and every one of us by our leaders who have milk dry this country. The weight of this problem is mostly felt by our women and the end result is that many have no choice but to marry a man who they can depend on to satisfy their economic needs not minding being a second wife playing the role of a second fiddle.Do i need to tell you all they suffer under this yoke? Government needs to empower our women bearing in mind that they are our mothers and they don’t deserve what many are going through in our hands. I don’t care if anyone accuse me feminism here. All i said is our women deserve a better deal that what is obtainable now. PERIOD!

I agree with the writer to some degree, but on the other hand, change will come only to those who fight for it. How on earth do you expect change when you who need this change expects someone to give it to you without a fight? The issue of educated and well to do female has nothing to do with it. My stomach chunned as I read the article, its really a self pity, I can do nothing because thats the way God created it kind of perception that I get. You know, I heard of a woman whose husband was flirting around because of newly acquired status. On a certain day he came home demanding for sex from his trader wife who bluntly told him no untill she sees a negative HIV test paper from the doctor. The matter was so serious that it ended up in the village. The woman stood her ground and didn’t give a damn until the man was compelled by the elders to go for HIV test. What I’m simply saying is that, if you decide to rely on somebody 100% to take care of all your needs then you have no say at all. Have you not heard it said that even the mightiest of men can be conquired by women? The issue of rape is entirely different, such people are mentally sick and would need deliverance. Your life is in your hand. One drop of water gathering over a long period of time is what makes the mighty ocean.
The change, including women being respected in bed, will only come when it starts from YOU, don’t expect another person to give it to you, rather, BE the change.

ibelive the writer is right in some points but as i said earlier in the previous article there is nothing like” safe sex” rather ibelive in sex management.The woman,man,guy and babe out there should try to understand this world most wealthy fellows the see today were never born rich rather the went through sculticle to mak a living lets forget what the world wil say work hard for life when u begin to ripe it looks like bloodmoney.you mostnt involve in sex trading to make it all need to do its to hope unto God and fight for life .Every young man and woman wants money yes its very necessary bt dont sell your body for that cheap nothing of paper.rather manage yours so as to safe the world sexual act as termed.
