Obviously safe sex is the responsibility of both parties involved, however married couple situation is far better in this context than single folks. Singles (Male/Female) believe they can have sex with whoever they choose at any time and by so doing they overtly or covertly expose themselves to numerous STDs. Guys AIDS is REAL and people that doubt it can keep jumping from one bed to another. For the Married , if both parties are faithful to eachother then there should be no question of wearing condom or suspicious of eachother. Faithfulness and total abstinence is the main solution to this social menace.

There is no need to rattle too much about this. Sex is good for both man and woman, but the woman bears the entire brunt of all the add-ons that come after the the man must have forgotten about the fun he had. For this reason, the MAN should be the one to plan for safe sex as a way of contributing his quota. As a married man, I use condoms unless we want to make a baby. I have come to get used to it, knowing fully well sex is sweeter without it but I cannot have my wife taking drugs or commiting abortion jsut because I want to be happy.

I read all the comments one after the other, my question now is what sex is meant for?. Dogs do it when they wanted the new ones likewise all other animals in the bush but we do ours as a commecial business, offer it be4 any help can come or as a pay for good rendered. One can view this discussion in various ways. To me, safe sex should not be associated with those that are married. They are free to enjoy themselves at will. They are at liberty stadium and can over display . The singles are those to observe safe sex as they are yet to fully accept if they will get married or not. Hence ‘working in the pot’ in the night time as night duty officers. Here, it becomes imperative for the woman to play safe by taking all activities in to consideration. Issues like unwanted pregnancy, abuse, name calling, pollution etc may mar the unsolicited relationship.

My contribution to this topic is that both men or women married or single should be responsible for safe sex. If a man fails to play safe then he must be responsible for accepting responsibility the other way round for a woman who plays without safe must be ready to carry the pregnancy and bear the pains. Therefore both parties should be careful not only bearing responsibilities but also the dangers of diseases resulting from HIV/AIDS, syphilis, gonorrhea etc.

Dear Aunty, i think i had to agree with Bukola Pam Pam..on the issue of Safe sex
but in general wether married or single that has to indulgde in sex must protect his or her self.AIDS IS REAL

Now, on the issue of married people,the woman must have to know when she’s ovulating to avoid taking inn when she doesn’t want to be pregnant.

Most married people thinks thats once you use a condom on your wife means you do not trust her but in the hand the man is playing safe to avoid unwanted pregnacy that may result to abortion which is prohibited.

So protection as i think goes along with both parties involved..begin married or single.

i’m sending my opinion because i feel people need to know that sex is not just an ordinary thing that u just go into or indulge in. If you want to control or play it safe, it depends on both party that are involved in it because sometime the man might want to play it save while the woman might object or insist otherwise, this is Vice versa. Sex is irrespectant of age and academic qualification.One does not need to go to school before one learns how to do it .There is no formal training about it.It (the urge)comes when it comes it is hard to say no,though men has to control themselves.

For me, it take 2 to tangle same vain, the issue of safe sex, can not be treated in isolation of the 2 parties. There is no agreement without the consent of the 2. This’s jet age, nothing like”men’s world”. If the target will be achieved there should be commitment from the 2 PERIOD.

One of our major problem in Africa (Nigeria mailny) is holding on to our consavative ways and outdated traditional believe.Sex or no sex, husband and wife surpose to be 50:50 in everything. I do not want to marry a slave or having a man as master of everything at home. The responsibility of everything should be thesame. Some natural role of women,like pregnancy should not be allowed to women alone, i mean husband also must see himself in this moment as a person in his wife position. So, it is responsibility of both for safe sex, safe family and so on.
