This is an opportunity for small scale investors to build the solar energy in their area and distribute to the people of that area.It will be a good investment unless government wont allow such distribution.I think Otedola and that Dangote should think of it as an investment rather tha fighting each other.Forget the government..............

Quite interesting, but the fact remains, will our leaders pay attention and impliment this kind of adivce by investigating this claim and know how possible it works for the betterment of the people, in the western countries they make good use of the advices of experts, the federal govt has promised uninteruptible light by the Dec. 2009, but how realist are they, who knows, our leaders has been leaders you can not take them for their words, they promised 6,000 megawatts by December, 2009, how sure, are they going to realise this, besides, I read from a journal , that Oil-rich Nigeria produces less than 3,000 megawatts of electricity for its 140 million people, while South Africa produces more than 43,000 megawatts of electricity for a population a third the size, if one could judge by this magin, you will be surprised if this 6000 megawatts will be enough to provide ininterupt power supply to a population of 140 million people. if this could not work for now, better we go for solar energy system before it is late, their promises of Dec. 2009 is not too far from now, The greatest problem we have in Nigeria is lack of good managment, checks and balances.
Nigerians and the international community are watching theses promises of "power supply" which the people has been suffering from for years.
