They will not attend because no announcement was made to share Niger Delta oil money, as commonplace in Nigeria.

Shame! Shame again, and shame forever as the country is already ashamed for seeking military aid from Britain to kill the people of Niger Delta. This is a region that had fed her for more than 50 years and today asking simple equity.

When was it a crime to seek justice anywhere in the world? Instead of solving simple justice question, which is also Nigeria’s-true federalism that gaurantees resource control-Yar’Adua is seeking means to wipe out the children and people of Niger Delta. More shame until MEND drops oil output to zero. Then the cabals may resort to using the oil stored in the north for their use alone and leave N-delta alone for peace and God’s sake!

Can someone tell me if Nigeria has ever had a Free and Fair election before apart from June 12. Also can someone tell if any agency is responsible for how Nigeria tax payer money is been spent, because the level of corruption is so high and the leaders are not nothing but hoodlums.

These guys are a disgrace to the national assembly. But hey most of them are too busy looking for girls to sleep with and money to steal so their attitude would go unnoticed and we will all forget about this debacle in a few months.

Nigeria is a super ghetto and these men live in it! They are supposed to contribute to its development by are too short sighted and daft to note their position. They would rather drive a bullet proof Hummer on pot hole riddled roads than drive a Bentley (yes they can if Nigeria’s economy is booming) on smooth roads with street lights.

when i see people abroad covering their green passports,it is not because coming from Nigeria is a bad thing but what people will regard you as when they hear all these in the news.
It is a pity to be a Nigerian abroad because of these shameful acts.
I hope we learn to use our heads and make Nigeria a country because now,i doubt what it is-mere company with administrators called government.

They are not interested in the conference. All they are interested in, is the estacode and all other huge allowances that are attached to the confererence. They also use the opportunity, to do masive shoppings and when you see them in these dresses they look like zombies.

The unpatriotic attitude of the two legislators Ibrahim Dogo and Wilson Ake who were nominated to represent Nigeria at the just concluded ILO conference showed the kind of persons they are.It is very disgraceful that these two appeared on the last day of the conference.The question now is,are they going to be paid for the conference they do not attend?This is unpatriotism of the highest order.And they called themselves legislators.They are not patriotic but fraudulent and corrupt.

What can i say? It would seem as though some politicians regardless of skin color and race are woven from the same fabric: greed, lies, disregard for the public and general impunity.
I say some because there are still a few good men and women among them.
Its sad really that things like these happen, but i guess they happen so we can choose better next time, not be swayed by bags of rice, salt and printed T-shirts.

I found it difficult to laugh at these bunch of idiots called legislators. What da heck?! They are not even ashamed (well they wont, they are naija rulers). That stupid one who is enjoying our money calling economy class “that thing” can he afford to travel with his money? Well, where will he say he is going. Those who can not stand in front of JSS 3 students and address them, Nigeria sent them to world meeting. What a shame? If there is Dora in Nigeria can someone tell her to read newspapers sometimes, maybe she can know where to start her rebranding project from. They should be fired from house with immediate effect. Nonsense. Shame on Dora for saying that media is killing nigeria image, she is a liar! I cant wait to read about what those idiots will tell house what they have gained at ILO summit. The 1.7million was good for just a day, for the 20 days you can not expect the busy legislator to sit down talking uninteresting things. For the 20days they needed 34million each. What is 38 000 a day, rubbish. My dear legislators, do not mind the people that gave you that estacode of penny for a boring outing. You did the right thing going then, afterall your presence would have been insignificant if you had gone earlier. What would you have even contributed that would have a positive impact on the country? When you can have good time enjoying yourselves in your estates. But going on the last day makes me feel that you wanted the money at all cost. 1.7million, i am not sure that it is up to the least amount you have been sharing in the house, guess you have not forgotten. Attending the summit atleast was ideal because you have to do some things you are expected to do, no matter how you do it or when. Well i encourage you all more power in your elbow. Really nigeria can get better with you. You are really crops of refined personalities. Remain productive as you are.

What we have in Nigeria are legislooters and not legislators. They, have, ever since their inauguration, never passed a bill that will impact positively on Nigerians. They collect fat salaries for doing nothing and many of them are emergency contractors chasing contracts all about Abuja. This is not surprising as almost all of them were smuggled into the National Assembly with no corresponding experience, credibility or qualification. They are a drain on Nigeria’s economy with nothing to show for it. This is one of the legacies by which OBJ will be remembered.

I am really ashamed of these so called”legislators”. What have they gone to do at the conference if only to surface on the last day?They should be made to refund the allowance given them as they are only entitled to 3days.They are irresponsible.I am not surprised in that they were not really elested but SELECTED by PDP to come on board to chop.
Nigerians need to wake up and completely root these impostors out.
