this is a case of blackmail gone awry. i admire the courage of this alausa character. obviously, daniel wanted to muzzle him through oath taking. having failed, he resorted to blackmail. who is daniel trying to impress? which nigerian is not superstitious? even the courts require a witness to take oaths using either bible or koran, depending on which superstition he subscribes to. who has taken time to ponder on such practice?
which nigerian does not know that our politicians are juju men, cultists and criminals?
please the press should stop boring us with this story. they should give us the part 2 in the daily national entertainment of the absurd that we has got used to in nigeria.

Will the Alausa guy ever resign? NO! Will the demi god governor ever resign or impeached over this matter? NO. That is typical Nigerian state on display, no matter what happened, live must go on. The show must continue. Just give it one week, another bigger story will take over and the Dishonorable Mr Alausa and his Emperial Majesty the Governor Daniel will carry on as normal. Give it next year, even the speaker will join them over the finest amala and Gulder beer to celebrate their brotherly reconciliation. They will declare it a family affair and they will all get four more years of looting and stealing.

That is the picture of a typical Nigerian state in operation, See no evil, hear no evil. In a typical Oduduwa republic, will any of such people ever come near the corridors of power when the likes of Jakande, Wole Soyinka or Ruben Abatis of the world is around with sit of power in Ibadan instead of far away land called Abuja? NEVER!!

It wont matter if future pictures are published or not. The truth and the damage are already done. The big lesson nigerians are getting out of these revelations is how low the political class in nigerian had sanked over the years. Is it the revelations of how Alameshia and the former president traded or jabbed each other, or how Johnson or whatever he is called created Lagos state. All in all, we are beginning to understand that most of these elected, selected or appointed nigerians lacked the training, the discipline of leadership.They have not allowed the institution created by the British for governance to work. They never understood these and will not.They came from a mind set, of go to school and work for the government. Leadrship and altrusim were never part of their lives and will never. Because most of the nigerians think in these fashion, no body sees what is wrong, but are waiting for their own time that will not happen till they die.
Is it not a governor that personaly has 4 billions of his own, richer than the state. What do you expect from a demi-god.We have a long, long way to go.

(Dis)Honorable Wale Alausa,will you shut up for a minute and reflect on what you are saying?, do you realise that you are a public servant that was voted in to your position by your constituency?, why are you carrying on as if your loyalty is to the governor, your father and your family?.

Please realise that in more decent societies you would have long resigned your appointment and hide your head in shame. Is governance now a confraternity or a town’s meeting?. If you had to take off your clothes to pledge,then it is assumed that it was a ritual oath, so dont play on our intelligence. If you wont resign because of “long throat”, then spare us the charade and shut up.
