Jigawa to probe farmers/fulani clashes

DUTSE-Jigawa state government has established a committee to investigate the farmers, Fulani communal clashes in Miga local government which claimed lives and property worth Millions of Naira last year.
The Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Mustapha Aminu DanIyan Dutse said this after after the state executive council meeting held at the state house in Dutse, that compensation will be paid to the victims including those who lost their property and their relatives during the conflicts, addding that culprits and mastermind of the mayheam will not go scott free as governemnt plans to prosecute them.
He explained that N5.4 million was set aside for the total compensation for the victims of the crisis.
