OWERRI—The management of Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), has been urged to sustain the academic standard that has made its products standout in their places of employment nationwide.
The Force Transport Officer (FTO) of the Nigeria Police Force, Chief Isaac Iwuoha, a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), made the appeal when he presented copies of his book, “Reflections on the Practice and Principles of Transport and Workshop Managementâ€, to FUTO management.
“It is my desire to associate myself with the success story of the University by donating some copies of this highly prized book to the Universityâ€, Iwuoha said.
He explained “I am very delighted to make the presentation to FUTO, being a foremost University involved in the training of students in Transport Managementâ€, and the reputation it has earned over the years, especially during the tenure of the current Vice Chancellor.
