If indeed the friendly was cancelled before the Tunisian match and the press still went ahead to report it as an event to take place later, then the reputation of Nigerian press is in question.I don’t want to believe Ojo-oba
in this instance because of its implications on the Nigerian Press.But were he to be correct, the press should bow it’s head in shame.

I believe we need play more friendly matches as part of our preparation towards the world cup. It also helps in terms of rating. We need to play with very strong teams like Argentine, Brazil, Germany and may be spain.

The NFL or whoever is in charge I think is making a mistake again. Whatever friendly match that has been scheduled before the make-or-mare match against Tunisia, and whether it will be played on the field or on paper as usual, should be played at the Abuja National Stadium FOR GOD SAKE.

Our players need to blend as a team and understand the Abuja’s National Pitch turf well on time before that crucial match. In fact our approach to these last three matches should be that of playing the World Cup final match in S.Africa, probably against Ivory Coast, Ghana, Gabon or Algeria. The Trophy is staying in Africa.

My own only concern is against Kenya. Tunisia can not intimidate us in Abuja, friendly or no friendly. But against Kenya we do need a friendly please. We will be there in JESUS NAME.

I think it is very necesary for the super eagles to play a friendly match especially with a north Africa team just to know how fully prepared the team is ready for the must win match against tunisia in Abuja, even if they cant play in Nigeria or African it can be played abroad to enable the professional players participate.

THE SUPER EAGLES NEED TO PLAY A NORTH AFRICAN COUNTRY IN EUROPE BEFORE THAT IMPORTANT CLASH AGAINS TUNISIA IN SEPTEMBER.WE CAN NOT ACCEPT ANY EXCUSES AT ALL.WE MUST PREPARE TO BEAT TUNISIA BY PLAYING COUNTRIES LIKE MOROCCO,ALGERIA OR EGYPT.IF THE FOREIGN BASED PLAYERS ARE NOT READY,WE CAN USE LOCAL EAGLES WHO ARE EVEN MORE COMMITTED AND WHO WANT TO MAKE THEIR NAMES.
