I dont mind when people talk about good things to encourage super eagles to perform ,what i do not want to hear is to say southafrica is this and southafrica is that. For the records,an average south african do not like nigeria ,perhaps with the exemption of their women who only craze for sex from a nigerian man.The people are so petty and immature when it comes to nigerian issue.I donot know whether you are aware of this ,that their is a strike action going on in southafrica among medical doctors about increase in salaries,Government had increase the salaries of the nurses about 2 years ago, but for doctors they are reluctant, the reason is over 90% of public hospitals doctors are foreigner, and over 50% of these are nigerians, they believe they would take the money away from their country once they are paid,MTN makes huge profit from NIGERIA infact nigeria turns mtn to a profitable company and nobody cares as long as they are rendering the services they are suppose to render ,in SA that is not the issue, if you could put in your 1000% of your ability they donot to give a damm, it is "their money" that you are taking away that matters to them

I have said it many times, the Supper Eagle coach is the problem. Whenever our Eagles is playing, we often see many of the departments in that team playing as if there is nothing at stake. Either the midfield is very weak or the strikers are just playing to the galary. If you watch the final game between Brazil and the USA, you will observe that all the departments are just playing a wonderful game. Sometimes, Kaka will be playing in the midfield so also is Robinho. Before you know it they are creating opportunities for the goals to be scored. USA and South Africa played similar style of football. In Amodu's case, he does not know how to make the players create scoring chances. What Amodu should know is that you need to score goals to win a match. Brazil came back from 2 zero down to win the game with 3 goals to 2 against the USA. Amodu does not have that technical skills to win a major competition like the world cup. A coach who is very comfortable with draws is not a very sound coach.

Dear Mr Nkem Onwuka, the production of an easy flowing and impressive midfield is mostly the job of a coach, just as a delicious soup is the outcome of good cooking and not necessarily the ingredients. Coach Amodu is not the best Nigeria could offer, but he is the National coach, and we have to make do with him. But to dream of a Super Eagles of world class with the present crew is a misadventure.

I agree with you Mr Edeh, but I must tell you that the South African feat did not come on aplatter of gold. They had to shop for the best coach, who they encouraged with all the resources at their disposal. what do we have in Nigeria? Nepotism and mediocrity. Only God will save us.

Hmmm, when I watched the South African played in the confederation cup, I was thrilled. Pitch the bafana bafana against the super eagles today, the former will trash the super eagles.
The south african players played with determination and commitment to father land.
Amodu please take a clue from the south african coaching crew and groom together a home base super eagles that can deliver.

I was really impressed by the performance of our African representatives in the just concluded fifa confederation cup. Except for the poor display of the Egyptians against US, no thanks to injuries, fatigue psychological emotions, I think they tried their best.
One important lesson to learn from this tournament is that the Africans showcased a good midfield-based role throughout the encounter. Therefore, for our dear super eagles to do anything in this world cup qualifiers and even beyond, something needs to be done urgently every department but the midfield in particular.
 Goodluck Super eagles, goodluck Nigeria.
