Abia State Governor, Dr. Theodore Orji, has called on Local Government chairmen in the state to rally round World Wrestling Professionals (WWP) Africa’s heavyweight champion, Osita Offor, popularly known as De Ultimate Commander towards his title defence against Joe Legend of Canada.

Dr Orji’s call was in anticipation of the international wrestling fight between De Ultimate Commander and WWP world heavyweight champion, Legend billed for Enyimba International stadium, Aba. The fight is fully sponsored by the Abia State government.
Abia’s chairman of Local Government Chairmen, Barrister Stanley Ojigbo, while reacting to his excellency’s call said that the event “is a challenge to all Abia people and Nigerians as a whole”.
He said that as a son of the soil, De Ultimate Commander remains a source of pride to the state, Nigeria and the entire continent.
He, however, promised that all the necessary support would be given to Commander to ensure that he emerges victorious from the much-awaited wrestling contest.
Meanwhile, the man in the global attention, Commander is also billed to travel out of the country to the United Kingdom for the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship, which would serve as a build up for his July contest in Abia State.

All i want to say is that our governor should be reasonable, sports is good but i dont think this should be his priority now. he should think of other developmental projects to do, if he doesn’t know then he should contact me to tell him of the need of abians. it is nt commander as he said. i look forward to be contacted. when u do the right thing governor the people will be happy.
