i really can not understand this story, I guess its time to stop publishing this kind of stories including fake church’s stories of people confessing that they killed a pastor’s wife and caused many accidents and wipe out many families in different part of the world and still there are allowed to be walking freely on the road. these really doesn’t say good of that country Nigeria

This is to draw the attention of Alimosho LGA and our beloved governor to please come to our immediate rescue since we have been witnessing the good work he has been doing round the state and we as well is a law abiding citizen of this beautiful state and as a result we deserve to enjoy the good benefit of democracy as been delivered by our God sent governor.

Since the inception of this government in Lagos state we have been witnessing so many changes in different parts of the state and we in this area of Alimosho (Akowonjo) LGA have been suffering from continued flooding and bad roads right from the past military and civilian admistrations till date, we are still facing the same problems of flooding and bad roads which would have even eased the hectic traffic on Akwonjo road. Mostly hit areas are Alhaji Idowu, Oke, Animashaun and Benstar streets as well as Jimoh Akinremi and Ogunbiyi Avenue all these streets mentioned are connecting streets expected to ease off traffic on the only major inlet into Akowonjo, Shaha and Egeda as a result all vehicular movements are then stagnant on the only major road due to bad other alternate roads as mentioned above. We therefore plea to our listening governor to please come to our immediate rescue as things are getting worse than anybody can imagine.

We have been waiting tirelessly for a messier to come till date we are still facing the same problems and any time it rains we have to keep vigil and some cases we need probably a canoe or a speed boat to move us from our houses to our respective works…As it stands it seems the situation is beyond the council chairman to handle alone as it requires a good helping hand from our beloved governor. “EKO ONI BAJE OOO!!!”

This is the worse case of libel and character assassination I have ever read in history. The people concerned should be severely punished accordingly. Nigerians would go to any length because of their love for money. Although, I had brief encounter with Mr Amuka whilst in Vanguard, my recollection of him is of a very credible, jovial and kind gentleman and I was shocked when I read about this case. This is an embarrassment and a big disgrace to journalism. The publishers of this derogatory story should have investigated the story well before going to press. The competition in the media market is now forcing journalists to follow wrong leads and publishing rubbish. I believe that there’s enough news around the world than to publish stupid stories at the expense of human character. My loyalty and empathy is to Mr Sam Amuka and his family at this time.

“Nigeria is a country with a high capacity for mischief”.
This is the reality many Nigerians don’t want to face. However, what do you expect when you cook assorted meats (snail, snake, cow, lamb, goat, tortose, horse..etc) inside a pot with high ingredients of herbs and spice; I am afraid, you will definately have outrageous smell and taste.

Nigeria high capacity for mischief is the product of ‘cultured-liness’ in the land.

The way Nigeria is being administered no amount of rebranding or old National anthem can stop the quagmire of anti-social and uncivilized behaviour (despite the level of education) that is going on in the society..it’s a fact!

An average Nigerian will do anything or go to any length to survive; very sad!

With all these negative news oozing out daily from the country, how can the so-called re-branding effort take root?
I think that we should look again at the old National Anthem.
There seems to be a better desire for true nationhood in that anthem” I think that is the only solution to this country of ours
