Ilorin — Kwara State Governor, Dr Bukola Saraki has appealed to Nigerians to have faith in God and cultivate attitudinal change with a view to making the Country attain greatness.
Governor Saraki, who made the appeal in his New Year message said the destiny to make Nigeria attain greatness like other world super powers lies in the hands of Nigerians.
‘’If we don’t blow our own trumpet, no one else will blow it for us’’, the governor said, noting that it was high time Nigerians moved away from running their country down through portraying negative things about Nigeria.
He admonished all and sundry to display absolute patriotism and promote positive image about the country before the outside world.
The Governor also called on the people to intensify their prayers for the quick recovery of President Umaru Musa Yar’ Adua.
